Current Projects

1. Various Monitoring Project and Data Audits

Compliance Monitoring have been contracted by a number of significant organisations including the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC, formerly Department of Environment, DoE), Alcoa and Air Assessments to assist with ambient air monitoring audits, ambient air monitoring project management and data validation services.

2. MRA (ENV Australia & ATA Environmental)

Ambient air monitoring services during remediation of the former Midland rail-yards, adjacent to sensitive offices of the West Australian Police Service (WAPS), TAFE & MRA. Monitoring services have been provided for multiple phases of the Midland Redevelopment Authority on-going remediation project. The project profile was demonstrated by the fact that Compliance Monitoring provided reports under the FOI legislation and was audited by the Department of Environment.

3. Verve Energy (formerly Western Power)

Ambient air monitoring for community protection purposes in accordance with environmental license conditions for PM10 (TEOM), sulfur dioxide plus meteorological parameters. Meteorological parameters include solar radiation, wind speed, wind direction and ambient temperature. PM2.5 is also conducted using a TEOM. Gas analysis is performed in accordance with Australian Standards. Station has been serviced for a number of years. Since 2003 valid data capture rates for all parameters has averaged over 99% per month (without removal of calibration data). The station is located in the township of Collie. Data is logged and downloaded on a daily basis. Weekly site inspection and monthly calibration visits are conducted.

4. RPS-BBG

Ambient air monitoring during soil remediation plus bulk earthwork stages of the South Coogee land development project. The monitoring included PAH sampling, HVAS sampling and analysis, TEOM monitoring, wind speed and direction measurement. The TEOM station have instantaneous SMS and email alarm reporting systems in the event of a particulate exceedence by comparison with the project air management plan.

5. Alcoa of Australia

A number of projects have been performed for Alcoa including current operation and on-going maintenance of an automated meteorological station, project management of real-time VOC monitoring services and provision of post data validation services for comprehensive ambient air monitoring, performed by others.
